Climate Motivator, UCC (New)

In partnership with the General Council of The United Church of Canada, The Climate Motivators program aims to support the vision of climate justice and youth involvement of the UCC.

Each motivator will work on a climate justice project related to a personal passion of theirs in partnership with a sponsoring community of faith. Motivators must choose a project within one of these four UCC climate response areas: Raising our Spirited Voices; Responding to Climate Impact; Getting Our House in Order; and Reconnecting with Creation.

Montreal Mission Internship (New)

MMI is a 9-week paid internship for 18- to 25-year-olds with a heart for service and a desire to discern how God is calling them to serve in the world. Interns work at a social service organisation in the city of Montreal, responding to areas of social inequity such a homelessness, migration, and food insecurity.

Rock Lake United Church Camp

From the first week in July, to the last in August, the camp provides sessions for all ages, including a two-day session for parents/grandparents and tots.

The program is run by a dedicated full-time staff supported by counselors. Together they create a warm, fun-filled atmosphere where campers are able to enjoy the outdoors and grow spiritually.

Wellman Lake Church Camp is a spiritual based summer camp and year round retreat. We are located on Wellman Lake’s picturesque Regatta Bay in Duck Mountain Provincial Park in the heart of Manitoba’s Parkland Region.

Camp Meadowood

Held every August for kids aged 4-10, Camp Meadowood is an awesome full day summer camp.  Camp offers opportunities to connect with other kids while learning about God through Bible stories, games, science and crafts. Outdoor activities are part of the fun, with as many leaders as children! Yummy meals and snacks are part of each day.  This year’s theme, “Rolling River Rampage,” invites Rafters of all ages on a white-water rafting adventure to experience the ride of a lifetime with God!

Camp Meadowood Coordinator (2 positions)

June 10th, 2024 to August 16th, 2024

The Camp Meadowood Coordinator is a contract position of 70 hours, including 30 hours of planning and preparation with flexible hours, and 40 hours the week of camp, August 12-16, 2024. This position will have the responsibility of supporting the Day Camp Director in the oversight of counsellors and campers for the 2024 Day Camp. This includes, but is not limited to, supervision of all camp counsellors and campers as well as the implementation of curricula, programs and activities.
