The Prairie to Pine Nominating Committee is looking for a special group of folks to serve on the planning committee for the next Regional Council Meeting, scheduled for May 28-31 2026 at Selkirk United Church.
As this meeting happens only once every three years in-person, this is a great opportunity to get involved and support the work of the broader church in a time limited fashion. The committee will begin its work in September through to the meeting in May. A diverse set of skills, including experience in worship leadership, theme development, meeting planning, and more are some of the skills we are looking for, but we are more than open to hearing from anybody who is interested in this sort of work. This is also a great opportunity for folks who may not have served the region before to gain a new experience outside of their community of faith.
