Reverend Sanadius Fiddler

Our thoughts and prayers  are with the family and friends of  Reverend Sanadius Fiddler and the community of faith at Sandy Lake. Sanadius died early on December 09, 2019. A celebration of his life was held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

Sanadius was an honoured elder within the Indigenous Church. He graduated from the ministry training program in 1976 and was ordained in 1977 by  the Conference of Manitoba & Northwestern Ontario. He served Adam Fiddler Memorial United Church in Sandy Lake until his retirement in June, 2003. He continued to serve as Retired Supply in Sandy Lake when there was no called or appointed minister or student available. He was predeceased by his wife Clara several years ago. 

Sympathies can be sent to Sanadius’ daughter Lucy Fiddler who lived in the same house and cared for her Dad. Mailing address is Box 50, Sandy Lake, ON P0V 1V0.

Stratton United Church and the Reverend Frances Flook

Our thoughts and prayers are with the community of faith at Stratton United Church and the Reverend Frances Flook as this Sunday, December 15, 2019 they celebrate their final service together and their life and legacy as a congregation in their current building.  Matters regarding disbanding are still in process.

Maria Szabo Berces

With Maria Szabo Berces  as she completes her pastoral relationship with the people of at Killarney and Ninette  on December 31, 2019 after 7 + years. Maria will be moving to a new pastoral relationship in Carstairs, Alberta in the Chinook Winds Regional Council. We wish her well. 

Janet Walker

With Janet Walker as she  completes her pastoral relationship with the people of Churchill Park United Church, Winnipeg after 12+ years with them. A celebration of Janet’s time with Churchill Park and her transition to retirement will be held on January 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
