Feb 17 to 19, 2024 at Killarney United Church, 35 participants and 19 young leaders gathered for a weekend of community building while exploring a climate justice theme.

a group of youth with purple and red leader t-shirts holding a thank you signThanks to all the participants who attended and made it fun!  Thanks to communities of faith who encouraged them and, in several cases, sponsored youth to attend!  Thanks to Killarney United Church for the great hospitality and wonderful meals!  It was very exciting to get so many participants from the west side of the region, 10 of those being first time regional retreat goers!  It’s also exciting to see past participants come back again, some moving into leadership roles!

We had some very creative worship and theme times as well as fun filled social times.
