YAAY (Young Adult And Youth) Leadership – Info & Recruitment Event

Youth grade 9 and older who are interested in taking on some leadership roles at YAAY events, or on the YAAY Committee in the coming years, please register and come to connect with one another and find out about opportunities where you can learn and practice new skills.

Event includes leadership skill building, a mini version of a typical YAAY meeting, leading one another in youth retreat games, an outing to the “Good Old-fashioned Dance” that is happening the same weekend, offering pieces of leadership in the Sunday morning worship at our host church.

Event begins Saturday morning with the option to sleepover Friday night (to accommodate those coming from a distance) and ends mid-day Sunday.  Details still being finalized.  Option to be picked up by parents for the night if that is desired (and pre-arranged with organizers).

We are thankful to Churchill Park UC and Korean UC, who are welcoming us enthusiastically into their shared space.

Proof of Covid Vaccination will be required. Masks will be required indoors, except when eating or sleeping.  Regular outdoor breaks will be scheduled.

Cost will be on a pay-what-you-can basis.
