The fall in-person session of Pastoral Care Visitors training is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at McKenzie United Church, 85- 11th Street, Portage La Prairie, MB. The day will include time developing or practising the skill of active listening and reflecting on the topic of pastoral visiting related to hospitals and/or palliative care. Information on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) will be shared. Rob Reed and Barb Jardine, along with guest presenter Joe Ball, from the Spiritual Care Department at Brandon Hospital, will provide facilitation for the day.
