Orange Shirt Festival to Support Reconciliation and the Orange Shirt Society: A festival of reconciliation featuring Indigenous artists, musicians, and culinary talent in the heart of Transcona. The Orange Shirt Festival, located at 209 Yale Avenue West in Transcona, will feature a diverse array of Indigenous food vendors and a marketplace starting at 4:00 p.m. showcasing the works of Indigenous chefs, crafters and artists. The evening will culminate in a concert at 7:00 p.m., spotlighting Indigenous performers.
