Lovely Day-a benefit concert for Music for Life

A benefit concert by Margaret’s Choir, for Music for Life, is happening on Sunday, May 5, at 2:30 at Prairie Spirit United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. Music for Life, a dedicated volunteer group, provides musical instruments and instruction to children and youth in First Nations and inner-city communities in Manitoba to give them opportunities to make music together. The community choir, directed by Katy Harmer and accompanied by Charmaine Bacon, will perform a variety of popular inspirational works. Tickets are $20 and $10.
