LLWL In-Person Gathering

Plans are underway by the Committee on Lay Ministry/Lay Leadership Support for the annual in-person gathering of those in training for or functioning as Licensed Lay Worship Leaders throughout Prairie to Pine Regional Council. The gathering will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mackenzie United Church (85 – 11th Street, Portage La Prairie, MB). The day will include time for worship, networking, sharing with the Committee on Lay Ministry, Lay Leadership Support, and engagement by staff from the Centre of Christian Studies on the theme of the use of “storytelling” in/as worship. A registration form will be sent to all LLWLs and CDM -Worship Leaders soon, and is due back by October 09, 2025.
