Celebration of Ministry Service

Final arrangements are being made for the Celebration of Ministry Service for Prairie to Pine Regional Council to be held on June 23, 2024, at Dauphin: First United Church at 2:00 p.m. During that service, two Ministry Personnel who have served the United Church for several years as Designated Lay Ministers/Lay Pastoral Ministers who have been recently granted “testamur” as a result of recent actions by GC44, will be commissioned to diaconal ministry (Maureen McCartney, Oakbank) and ordained (Ilene Dowd, Dauphin). This is a Regional Council Service and all are invited to join in by attending in person (37 3rd Ave NW, Dauphin, MB) and/or connecting via Zoom. Click here for the Zoom information.
