Westminster Sing-Along Messiah

Westminster United Church is hosting what is hoped to be the ‘first annual’ Sing-Along Messiah on November 30, 2024. This event is free to the community, and we welcome all those interested in joining Westminster’s Soloists and Friends, along with a chamber orchestra, as we sing through the Christmas portion and highlights of Handel’s masterwork, Messiah, a work that has been consistently performed in Winnipeg since at least 1948. Participants are welcome to bring their own scores or borrow one of ours (while supplies last). Donations will be warmly received in support of Westminster United Church and the Sanctuary Ceiling Restoration Fund, and there will be refreshments available for purchase. Please note that all recognized donations over $10 are eligible for a tax receipt.
